Early Release/Staff Development: May 7th
All students who turned in a March/April book report demonstrated terrific organization and presentation skills. This will be our last book report of the year. Thanks to all parents who assisted their children in completing this class assignment. YOU did an outstanding job!
Homework and book reports are a part of your child≠s grades. Book reports were an option for first graders. They were a requirement for second graders. If you know your child is missing this piece, I am willing to allow make-ups at a decrease of points earned.
Folder's are not getting returned on a daily basis. Homework is not being completed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the take home folders or homework, please contact me.
AS we near the end of April, the students are getting restless knowing the end of the school year is rapidly approaching. BUT we are not done learning and growing! It is very important that we maintain a consistent schedule of nightly routines that includes homework time. Please check their homework folders nightly for any notes and/or homework assignments.
